GLWD Investment Company Limited

Nigeria's Dedicated Social Infrastructure Development Platform

GLWD Investment Company Limited is the implementing platform for the Green Line White Dots Initiative, a private-sector-led social infrastructure development strategy designed to expand access to quality education, primary healthcare, community sports and the enabling infrastructure required for those services to function sustainably. The Initiative was conceptualised by MDG Investment Company Limited and is implemented through GLWD and its four specialist development companies.

GLWD provides central strategy, governance, funding coordination, partnership development, risk and ESG oversight for the Initiative. Its four specialist development companies lead the delivery and operation of Education, Primary Healthcare, Sports and Youth Development, and Enabling Infrastructure. The Company is structured to operate as a long-term social infrastructure platform rather than a single-project vehicle.

The Education City Model

The Education City is GLWD's core integrated delivery concept. It brings together an Education Centre, Primary Healthcare Centre, Sports and Youth Development Centre, and the enabling infrastructure required for those services to function effectively, within one planned community environment. The model is designed to be evidence-led, replicable and sustainable.
