GLWD Education Development Company Limited

Delivering Integrated Education for Nigeria's Next Generation

GLWD Education Development Company Limited is the specialist education company within GLWD Investment Company Limited, the implementing platform for the Green Line White Dots Initiative. Its mandate is to develop, construct, operate and manage greenfield K-12 education centres delivering free basic education, modern STEM/ICT curriculum and TVET pathways, with the long-term objective of at least one functional education centre in each political ward across Nigeria.

The First Education City Pilot in Delta State is the initial demonstration of this model, through which GLWD will validate costs, operations, governance and impact before progressive national replication.

At least one functional education centre in each political ward across Nigeria, as part of GLWD's national Education City network of up to 1,185 Education Cities.

Education Sector Intervention

GLWD Education addresses these challenges through an integrated model combining foundational education, secondary education, STEM and digital learning, and Skills/TVET within a structured community environment.

Access & Investment

Persistent gaps in access, affordability and sustainable investment continue to constrain education outcomes across Nigeria.

Infrastructure & Learning Environment

Many communities lack adequate education infrastructure, learning resources, technology and student-support services.

Curriculum & Teacher Capability

Improved curriculum relevance, teaching quality, digital capability and teacher development are essential to stronger learning outcomes.

Inclusion & Skills Pathways

Education systems must support inclusion and create clear pathways into further education, skills, entrepreneurship and employment.

Strategic Objectives & Pillars

GLWD Education's strategy centres on integrated education pathways supported by sustainable operations, strong teaching systems and practical skills development.

Secondary Education

Academic development combining science, technology, problem-solving and preparation for further education or skills pathways.
